Advice and Information
INTERNET ACCESS: The house is fitted with WiFi access. WI-FI PASSWORD: 33796711
CARE OF FURNITURE: Please do not take any inside furniture out to the patio or the pool. Weatherproof chairs and tables are provided for your use outdoors. And please take great care not to stain indoor furniture, stone floors, outside seat cushions or loungers with wet bathing suits or sun oils and creams.
EV CHARGER: Is available.
For any questions, please contact us.
WASHING MACHINE: There is a washing machine for your use in the room behind thefridge in the kitchen.
WATER: The tap water is fine to drink. If you prefer bubbly/fizzy water you can buy it at the supermarket. Ask for VODA GAZIRANO (STILL WATER is VODA NEGAZIRANO).
DISHWASHER: Please scrape off the plates before placing them in the machine.
ELECTRICITY: In order to conserve resources and avoid waste, please remember to turn off lights in rooms you are not using, and when you leave the house. The majority of properties in Croatia have a maximum of about 5.5kw at any one time. This means that if you have too many appliances on at once, the electricity will trip. Please try and avoid this, but if it does happen, the fuse box is in the boiler room by the staircase.
SECURITY: When you go out, please be sure to lock all the doors. The Villa has alarm system but we don’t recomend to use it. If you are using it the code for ON/OFF is: 1009
NOISE: Whilst we appreciate that you are on holiday, the house is in a residential area and consideration must be given to local residents, especially during the evenings
BEACH TOWELS: Guests are provided with one bath towel and one hand towel per person. Please do not use them outside. Pool towels have also been provided but we ask that you provide your own towels for use at the beach. For stays of 14 days, bedlinen and towels are changed after 7 days.
SUN UMBRELLAS: During bad weather or with the prospect of bad weather please be sure to remove the sun umbrellas from their stands and lay them flat on the ground. This prevents them from being whipped up by the wind and broken.
POOL SAFETY: Please do not leave children unsupervised in and around the pool area.
POOL MAINTENANCE: The pump for the pool is on a timer and is to be left running at all times. There is a net provided to remove any debris from the pool. Pool Maintenance is carried out regularly to clean the filters and check the levels of the pool.
SHOWER: After using sun products please shower before sitting in the lounge area to prevent damage to the furniture.
Please do not take glasses in the pool area to avoid breakages. Please do not throw any food and liquids into the pool. Please do not let you pets swim into the pool.
BREAKAGES: Please report any breakages to your Property Manager as soon as possible so that they can be replaced or repaired.
RUBBISH: Please do not let any grease, oil, coffee grounds or food pieces go down the kitchen sinks. There is a large green wheelie bin just outside of the main gate and to the right for general waste. There are re-cycling bins on the road leading to the village (green for glass, blue for paper, yellow for plastics). Please re-cycle all that you can.
SEPTIC SEWER SYSTEM: We hate to be blunt but, like many rural houses in Croatia, this one is on a septic sewer system. These bacteria cleansed systems cannot process anything but toilet paper and must be completely pumped out if they fail. As one doctor friend tactfully put it, "If you haven't eaten it first, don't put it down the toilets." Tampons, sanitary napkins and Kleenex, therefore, must not be disposed of down the toilets. Please use the bins provided instead.
DEPARTURE: On the day of departure we request that you vacate the villa by 10am to give our cleaning team the time to prepare for new arrivals.
